In Science this half term, we have been learning about the Circulatory System and we started by exploring how the heart works and then writing a post-card to explain the journey that the blood takes through the body. This week we have looked in more detail at the components that make up our blood and to help us remember our learning, we created our own blood samples including red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets and plasma. We loved this (slightly gross) but exciting bit of science!
