Mrs Jones

Welcome to Class 2.

We are a mixed aged class of 19 Year 2 and Year 3 children.

Our teacher in Class 2 is Mrs Jones. Miss Garfield and Mrs Pennill are our teaching assistants.

Forest School is on Thursday afternoons 1 -2. PE is timetabled for Thursday afternoons, children can come in their PE kits on this day and bring their forest school kits with them.

Homework is weekly and consists of Spelling Shed and MathShed. We have weekly Spelling Shed activities to help us prepare for our weekly spelling test, a grammar quiz and a MathsShed task. Homework tasks will be set on a Monday to be handed in on the following Monday.

We would also like children to read with an adult at home at least three times a week. Children will earn a star on their reading rocket every time they read at home with an adult. Regular readers will be entered into a draw each half term for a book prize.

Children should bring a named water bottle with them each day and a suitable coat for the weather.
