Welcome to Woore Primary and Nursery School

On behalf of our school governors, I would like to wish you a very warm welcome to our 'family' at Woore Primary and Nursery School. Here at Woore we are proud to offer our children a high quality, well-rounded education with fantastic opportunities to develop self-confidence, independence and a love of learning.

The school is a happy and secure place where there is an emphasis on high standards within a caring and sensitive ethos. We encourage and nurture a strong sense of partnership between the school and the family and these things lie at the heart of children's happiness and success at Woore.

Our mission is to provide a caring, stable environment along with academic excellence, while preparing our pupils for life long learning. We wish to 'make a difference for every child' through our school motto “Aim high .... because everything is possible!”.

I hope this website will provide you with as much information as possible about our school, the staff and the many activities that our children enjoy through our curriculum and extra-curricular activities.
