Recently our school gathered together as a community to commemorate the fallen soldiers on the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings. We listened songs and stories from war veterans - the bravery they showed and what they sacrificed for our freedom.
Then over a traditional British lunch we all thanked them for their sacrifice. 
We would also like to thank our local artist for allowing us to place her beautiful artwork around the school grounds today! And once again a big thanks to Jayne and Mrs Hopwood for organising today’s event!
